Defence Career Academy (DCA) was established under the banner of “ Manav Vikas Kalyan Pratishthan “ on 6th March, 2007. It has been recognized by the 21st Institution Registration Act of 1860 as well as 29th by the Mumbai Trust of 1950. It is the first ever-Private Institution in the state of Maharashtra and equally competent to other Government Institutions. With the enhanced enrichment of the Campus, DCA stands out due to its well-designed and thoughtfully planned and craft ed campus. The supportive infra of the Academy strengthens the aspirants to achieve their goal equipped with prominent facilities and boundless training. Carrying up the consistent persuasion of building up brave officers with a determined approach, enables our skilled faculty to raise the level of competition among the young cadets. Having the clinquant spark alive within us, we have been ensuring the appropriate shaping of Cadet’s persona through intact delivering of knowledge, nurturing their physical and psychological development for creating excellent citizens of our proud nation.

DCA has been the only choice from the point of view of faith, quality impartment, safety, and most importantly the countless continuous achievements put forth by the extraordinary efforts taken up by both the excelled faculty in addition to the prompt and focused cadets. In the long journey of 14 years, the resulting graph has been rising every year uplifting the bar of competition for the other batch students with inspiration of fulfilling their dreams. Marking our footsteps we have left no area of achievement unturned. Bagging an exemplary position in NDA written exam in the year 2018-19, serving the nation as the PBOR officers in Armed forces, Paramilitary CISF, Airforce, Indian Navy (AA & SSR) as well as the Merchant Navy. An equal share of partcipation and triumph is being grabbed by the Sports Department by the overwhelmed performances of our enthusiastic cadets in a variety of sports. The victorious role of Representing Maharashtra in Baseball National School with an honor of shouldering the responsibility of being the Team Captain of the Handball team at the National School has been a benchmark proved progressively.

The DCA family always has a firm and evident focus on the holistic growth and personality development of the cadet. Following the SWOT Analysis also supports character strengthening, establishing eminent qualities of entrepreneurship in every cadet. Timely scheduled counseling sessions avail each cadet an opportunity to improve and uplift oneself to the expected level of matching the social norms and expectations. Various indoor clubbed with outdoor activities are being scheduled on the yearly calendar depicting the sequenced training sessions for effective reformation. Keys activities like Rope climbing, Trekking, Parasailing, rippling, etc add exclusive qualities in shaping as a prominent Defence officers. Educational, field trips, and picnics also acquire a special place in the annual calendar.

We ensure the success and achievements irrespective of their cadre concepts such as UPSC, NDA- NA (10+ 2 B. Tech Cadet Entry), 10+2 Technical Entry scheme, AFMC (MBBS) , NEET, JEE (MAIN), Indian Army, Air Force, Indian Navy, Merchant Navy, Civil Aviation in addition to the academic syllabus. Justifying these attributes, we are now passionate to set up another sister branch of DCA, providing all girls, a wide opportunity for bringing to live their futuristic dreams of serving the nation as the Defence Officer.
