AFMC MBBS stands for Armed Forces Medical College MBBS entrance exam. This AFMC medical entrance exam is officially organized by Armed Forces Medical College, Pune.
Applicants would get admission in AFMC MBBS based on NEET.
Eligibility Criteria of AFMC MBBS
- Nationality - Those candidates who are appearing for AFMC MBBS need to be an Indian.
- Educational Qualificarion - You need to clear 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- Medical Qualification - In case of physical and mental ability. Candidate need to be medically fit as prescribed standards by the Government of India, Ministry of Defence.

Age Criteria for AFMC + MBBS
For those applicant who have cleared 12th or equivalent— Should attain the age of seventeen years on 31 December ; but must not have attained the age of 22 years on that date

Applicants, who are willing to seek the application for the MBBS have to go to the official site of the Armed Forces Medical College(AFMC) Pune which is "www.afmc.nic.in".
Then from home page you have to go to the recent update and notification section & select the appropriate link.
Read the notice and click Apply Online to apply forthe admission in MBBS.
Then fill the application form as instructed in appropriate manner & must upload the image.
Then click submit option to submit the application form and after that pay the application fee & take a print out for the future use.
Exam Pattern
- Courses : It is held for MBBS / BDS courses.
- Number of Questions : The Question paper will contain total 180 Multiple Choice Questions with single correct answer.
- Subjects : The paper will be asked from subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Zoology & Botany.
- Language : The language of Question paperwill be both - English or Hindi.
- Mode of Exam : The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based mode).
- Duration : The exam duration will be of 3 hours.
- Marking Scheme : 4 marks will be awarded for each correct response.
- Negative Marking : 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer as negative marking.

TOELR Exam Details
TOELR is the test of English language, comprehension, logic and reasoning. This is the second level of the selection procedure of AFMC. The marks of TOELR will be added to the marks of NEET.
The TOELR will be conducted in CBT mode.
- There are 40 MCQs which have to be answered in 30 minutes.
- 2 marks will be allotted for each right answer.
- 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
