Educational Qualifications Details For CRPF
To become a CRPF officer a candidate must have passed intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination. Apart from this, a candidate must be able to type 35-40 words per minute in English, 25-30 words per minute in Hindi.
Age Limit
Age should be 20 Years to 25 Years.

- General Mental Ability - Logical Reasoning , Quantitative Attitude, Numerical Ability, Data Interpretation
- General Science GeneralAwareness, Scientific Temper, Comprehension and appreciation of scientific phenomena of everyday observation including new areas of importance like Information Technology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science
- Current Events of National and International Importance:- Current affairs of national and international importance in culture, music, arts, sports, governance, industry, development, business, globalization and developmental issues.
- Indian Politics and Economy - India's Political System, Constitution of India, Social System and Public Administration, Economic Development in India, Regional and International Issues
- General Studies and Comprehension
Part A - Essay Questions are long answers which are to be answered in either Hindi or English totaling 80 Marks. The indicative topics are modern Indian history especially of the freedom struggle, geography, polity and economy, Knowledge of security and human rights issues, and analytical ability.
Part B - Comprehension, Passage writing, other communications / language skills - to be attempted in English only (Marks 120) The topics are Comprehension Passages, precis writing, developing counter arguments, simple grammar and Otheraspects of language testing.
